Hiiii :) I'm slowly crawling out of my shell and posting again. Not long ago I posted about these Zara heels that I so much wanted to include in my growing shoe collections, and guess what? I got them :) As beautifully sculptured these beauties are, I am just not able to walk properly in them without looking like the Hunchback of Notre Dame (via the veins poppin in my foot, ouch!).
An update about what I've been up to in the past 2/3 weeks...I'm still adjusting to the new area and the new flat. Yet to be a home because I've got quite a few bits and bobs to do.
So far, I made my own curtains, got plants in the house (real ones, can't do fake flowers/plants) If you're following me on Twitter you'll see what I'm talking about. Again like I said, some bits and bobs and hopefully by the end of this month everything will be sorted out!
Here are some photos I took when I went to my old place to get my mail...
With an empty closet at sight, it can only mean one thing. I am officially moving in my new flat!! So excited!! Since high school, I always wondered how it would be like to be an independent woman living on her own. At 22, now I know and it feels so(oooh) good. It's not gonna be easy at first, especially with the fact that my rent is 95% of my income, but it is SO WORTH IT to me.
Can't wait to start making it a home, my home, and share with yall :) For the time being still have to get some last things done before the moving van gets here. xx
Basic dress up in a little dress I got from H&M long ago. And notice the hair too, yeap, also a basic. I tend to do the same style especially in a rush ;/ but time to change that up a little bit too. These photos were taken last week, while walking home, we stopped in front of a random red door and this was the outcome...
Changes...
Got polka? I do...
Also, I am going to let these really, really comfy flats rest for a while
A cold day spent at the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill to see The Body Adorned exhibition. The museum also has a beautiful park where these photos were taken with me wearing M&S clothes except my top (from Primark) and the shoes (from New Look) that I have worn over and over again because they are so darn comfy.
Trying a touch of colors. It's not a lot, but it's a start

On the other hand, I am absolutely excited about so many things at the moment. First and most important, my 3 weeks holiday in June to Indianapolis. Can't wait! and my new place that I'll hopefully move in next week Sunday. I feel like I'm starting new again and hopefully my new place will be a place that I can finally call home away from home.
Just amazed by the beautiful and structured detailing. Fabric manipulation does wonderful wonders...
On the other hand, I'm off school for 2 weeks, Easter holidays. Making the most of it and also thinking about DEFINITELY dying my hair blue next week :)
I love dresses. Easy, quick fix, just throw it on and you're good to go. I felt really good wearing this beautiful dress I got from M&S a couple of weeks ago. It is so, so, SO(OOOOH) beautiful that these pictures don't even do it justice. My shoes were gifts and the earrings were a purchase (flea market) from one of the many trips I take to Paris. Nonetheless here are some photos...
I think I need to explore the area of MAKE-UP. I mean, I always feel like I can do more but I don't know how to start. I don't want to overdo it, ya know, just want to do it a bit more and work with a bit more. I had my hair up, then thought 'ummmm, why not braid it?' and as it turned out, I liked it a lot better this way.
