After work time, it's play time
A marketing school project I was working on. Designing for a market. One of the most stressful time ever especially on the hand in day, I was rushing in between campuses to drop all my assignments, life of a student... But once I finished my toile, I experienced the most relaxing and happiest feeling, making it so worth it! I think I did good (pat on my back).
After all the hard work, I could only reward myself with a trip to Indiana!!! I miss my nieces and nephew, my family and friends, the bf, the food, the culture...If anything, it's been the hardest thing I have had to deal with, the emotions. I hate being away from the ones I love, from home. It's honestly the most depressing feeling and it is the major factor that gives me thoughts of leaving London, quitting, just going away and not want to come back. However on the other hand, I have so much going on right now that I can't just give up and go back to basics. "No no no...This is just part of growing up" I keep reminding myself.
I'm leaving this upcoming Monday and I'll be there for the holidays. I'm so happy :)

Pop that booty like you know you can guuurl
One of my closest girl was in town last week and we hadn't seen each other in over 10 years! so it was girls time to catch up :) Here we are right before hitting Chinatown in West End for a birthday get together.
My jeans are actually men's Levi's. I got them while in Indiana this summer at a thrift store :) I love them so much! reminds me of Molly Ringwald back in the 80's
Wedges are from Office and they are super comfy!
The white tank is from M&S, kids' wear 13-14years old :b
Rounded up with my 'looking less like a bun' but more like 'tête d'ananas' (my pineapple head/hair style)

Happy by Leona Lewis sums up my feelings :)
So today's Tuesday. It's 11:15 as I'm typing. Watching Flava TV and Dizzee Rascal 'Scream' is playing. My sister is asleep in the bedroom. I am just updating my blog with a smile in my face. I'm happy! I am moving out again next month because of 'misunderstandings' with my landlord. Let's just say that 'us, soft spoken girls are not to be messed with' - Lyndsey :) But here a recall of my day yesterday. London's weather was fantastic! My sis and I grabbed McD's, her plan is to eat as much as she can since she's going back to Guinea tomorrow, a place where there is no McD's ;b
I am so happy I got to see her and having family around me :) plus I am soooo looking forward to G coming to town in about 6 weeks :))
My skirt and jewellery are from M&S, the mustard tank is from my trip in Indi
It's now 11:36 and Rita Ora 'How We Do' is playing, now click on publish!

Notting Hill Carnival
This past weekend, there was the carnival in town, The Notting Hill Carnival and it was as usual CHAOTIC! but so fun!!! I went with my sister and my bestie who's in town for the week :) This is actually the first time I spend more than 2hours at the carnival and actually joined in the dances and the crazy fest, and it was a blast!
The carnival girls were super nice!!! and I loved their costumes
EXTRAVAGANT!!!
After the carnival, we headed to the bridge, the London Bridge and the Tower Gateway Bridge :) It was a great way to end our journey! bliss!

Welcome to Camden
Last week Wednesday, the weather was bliss! so my sister and I ventured to Camden and here are some shots I took as we walked through the town.
HoOker heels, shoes I definitely want to add to my growing shoe collection :)
Tees, Tees and more T's :)
And JD was of course my fav :) which I'm going to get next time around just for Grant to sign it :b
The channel at Camden Lock
What I had, for £3, not worth it. It was not good :(
Some corners within Camden have a little 'Harry Potter' scenery feel to them, for example this tunnel market
& finally the lady and her bag shop, who made it quite clear that she didn't like people taking photos of her shop because her product are 'up-and-coming'. EXPOSED!
Camden is such a fun little town! very eccentric with its own vibe. As much as I like going there to just walk around or have shisha, I find it a bit more expensive. Maybe that's because many tourists go there and the place is so popular...I don't know. But definitely a place to go to if you come to London.

Again and again
Here we go again. I can't stop babbling about my wonderful time in Indiana...It's been over month now and reality has started to set in. Back to work and I start university next month, which I am really psyched about, majoring in Fashion Design and Marketing :) I'm still sorting out the last bits of my student finance...I still can't get over Indiana, such a relaxing holiday.
Especially being there on the 4th of July, it was baking hot, my kind of weather! celebrating with one of my really good friends, Lynds, I just adore her! we were total sports with our outfits, red white and blue :)
An Einstein lookalike street art
Walking down the streets with Grant and Lyndsey, on our way to the pub, before going down the river channel to watch the fireworks
Fireworks Downtown!!
My night ended even better when Siri got me cider instead of beer :) I don't like beer.
Ahhhhhhhhh, I miss it. Miss it all...Like the sunset on our way to Oaken Barrel
Indi's nights & drives
And 'those' other nights too :b
